Understanding GPS and other sensor data on your 360fly 4K
A new feature included in our new 4K camera, is the ability to save GPS data in your videos and photos taken with your 360fly 4K. The GPS feature is used to capture location data in the metadata of your media. The GPS setting can be toggled on/off from inside the Camera Settings page by tapping on the gear icon when in the Camera section. In the screenshot below, you will see the GPS is turned on.
Along with the existing accelerometer, the GPS data will be utilized in a future app update that allows the user to turn on 'Overlays' that display the multiple sensors data and values.
Racerender.com now supports the 360fly 4K sensor data. With the easy to use Racerender application you can import your videos and select different gauges like altitude, GPS, and speedometer, to overlay on your video. You can click here for a step-by-step guide to walk you through the process.
